Implementing Lean Company-Wide & Sustaining the Journey Long-Term
Please join TechAmerica's Operations Roundtable for an in-depth review of HM Electronic's (HME) Lean Journey and their approach to implementing Lean throughout the company. HME began its Lean Journey in 2003 as the next step in a continuous improvement evolution that began very early in the company’s history. HME embraced Lean to improve customer satisfaction, maintain its position as market leader, and fulfill its mission to provide unparalleled value to customers, shareholders, and employees.
HME's Lean program is evolutionary and paced to fit business needs.
-Kathy Vail, Director of Human Resources will describe HME's efforts to indoctrinate, train, and sustain Lean throughout the company, particularly in the professional and administrative office areas
-Rick Sunamoto, Director of Manufacturing, will provide the details and specific Lean tools deployed in Operations.
