India Work Group

The India Work Group leads the IT Subgroup of the US-India ICT Dialogue which identifies business and policy concerns for discussion with Indian government and business representatives and seeks approaches to address these concerns. The work group has raised concerns on software and hardware taxes, encryption regulations, the IT Act, and cyber security. It has also engaged India on the Information Technology Act and support for electronic sectorals in the Doha negotiations.
