PS Procurement Policy Committee
This committee is responsible for monitoring and responding to all legislative and regulatory actions that impact government vendors ability to contract in the Federal government marketplace. The PPC works actively with Congress and the Administration to represent industry views on key legislative proposals and Administration initiatives, testifies before Congressional Committees and public hearings, provides position papers and background information on key contractor issues and responds to regulatory proposals. Guests speakers include Congressional staff and Administration representatives.
Membership is open to all Public Sector Group members.

Subcommittees
- PS GSA Subcommittee
This subcommittee focuses on the GSA IT Schedules, GWACs, and other major contract vehicles like Networx and Alliant, and meets regularly with GSA officials. The subcommittee members are especially interested in the activities of the Federal Acquisition Service. - PS Small Business Subcommittee
This Subcommittee, which is jointly sponsored with the Procurement Policy Committee, focuses on the interests of the small and mid-size business within TechAmerica. It also monitors the concerns of large firms in meeting their small business goals. Current issues include the SBA’s proposal to modify the size standards. - PS Section 508 Task Group
This Task Group focuses on implementation of Section 508 of the Workforce Investment Act of 1998. It also monitors international and state activities similar to Section 508 and related standards. The US Access Board announced its intention to update the guidelines for Section 508, and ITAA was appointed to its advisory committee. We expect more activity in this area during 2008. - PS IPv6 Task Group
This joint task group with the Federal Committee is focused on the implementation of Internet Protocol version 6 by the federal government. The group has already provided input to OMB, GSA, NIST and DoD regarding the policies and technical profiles proposed for this implementation. - PS TAA Task Group
