The annual Oregon Technology Awards program, now in its fouth year managed by TechAmerica Oregon, celebrates excellence and achievement in the region’s technology industry. On May 9, 2012, the Oregon technology community will celebrate excellence and achievements in the region’s technology industry and honor one outstanding Technology Executive of the Year and Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient. In addition, five individual industry segment and product awards will be presented. This event is presented by Cresa Portland and UnitedHealthcare.

Annual SEC & FASB Accounting Update with Terri Iannaconi
January 19, 2012
Over 150 finance professionals attended the annual SEC & FASB Accounting Update which included a deep-dive session on the current hot topics, revenue recognition and leasing. Attendees also learned about current SEC and FASB hot topics, evolving guidance on fair value, asset impairments, revenue recognition, and other current financial reporting topics.

2012 Oregon Legislative Session
The 2012 Oregon Legislature has adjourned. As it has for nearly 30 years, TechAmerica maintained a daily presence in the State Capitol, monitoring legislation and driving proposals to advance the technology industry in the state. TechAmerica issued weekly legislative updates throughout the session. The session was a success for TechAmerica’s legislative agenda.
