Overview

As the industry leader, the TechAmerica Public Sector team helps members navigate the complicated world of providing technology to governments. From unraveling harmful regulations to creating key relationships, TechAmerica’s Public Sector team is unmatched in their experience and connections in federal, state, and local government markets.

TechAmerica provides members with ample opportunities to exchange views with their customers in the government as well as create relationships with suppliers and new business partners. Members regularly interact with CIO’s, program managers, and other key stakeholders and decision makers, including Executive Branch officials and Members of Congress, who are making key decisions on government purchasing and policy.

Through regular public sector focused events and committee meetings PS members are thoroughly engaged in formulating and advocating industry positions on homeland security, defense, intelligence, federal civilian, and state & local government market sector initiatives as well as regulatory and legislative proposals impacting procurement policies that are critical to our industry.

Public Sector Board of Directors

The Public Sector Board of Directors is responsible for overseeing all of the activities of the Public Sector Group with a special emphasis on federal government programs. The PS BoD oversees all of the standing committees’ activities and sets the priorities and direction for all of the federal programs within the PS Group.  The directors are elected to the board for two-year terms.
